Bluey Rockhole [Pictured Above, NT Tourism] Located in Litchfield National Park in the Northern Territory. These cascading rock pools and waterfalls are located about 80 metres from the carpark, swimming is allowed and there is plenty of places to be alone soak in the atmosphere and read that book you have been carrying around in that backpack with you. Kangaroo Island [Stokes Bay, SA Tourism] Located on the Eastern side of Stokes Bay, follow the signs all the way down to the beach and through the headland to reveal this wet adventure wonderland. There is a huge rockpool that protects you from the surf and is even child safe (not that I would imagine you are backpacking with kids...) Mimosa Rocks National Park [Andrew Brown, Bermagui NSW] Kind of sounds like a nice drink doesn't it? This very large and surprisingly very calm ocean rock pool also known as Blue Pool is located 18km south of Bermagui. And this is just one of many hidden delights you'll find in the area. Fraser Island [Champagne Pools, QLD Tourism] If you are heading to Fraser Island these pools are a must, best enjoyed in low tide, the waves do crash over creating a salty foaming playground (ok that sounds a bit goo! but I think you get the picture) You will find this place between Picnic Head and Waddy Point.
